Grid Reference by Sam Irons

Sam Irons is a London-based photographer. He attended Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, where he studied English Literature, but his heart led him to photography, in which he graduated from the University of Brighton in 2004. Sam’s works were shown alongside some of the greatest photographers, and his strong point of view was influenced by such names as Wolfgang Tillmans or William Eggleston. We should just let the photos speak for themselves.

" ‘Grid Reference’ is a result of multiple road trips taken around the UK, Europe and the US. All of the photographs are titled by their grid reference - precise geographic coordinates which nevertheless betray no narrative or personal information whatsoever."
